Citizens Concerned for Human Life, Incorporated (CCHL), a 501c.3 not for profit corporation, is a non-denominational coalition working to protect all human life through education and public advocacy. We are located in the Capital District of New York State, and are most active in the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga. We are primarily a Pro-Life advocacy group, engaging in education, lobbying, and peaceful demonstrations.
CCHL promotes Pro-Life advocacy through sessions on adoption, post abortion stress syndrome, sidewalk counseling, peaceful picketing, lobbying, legislative functions, letter writing, and other general Pro-Life topics.
CCHL has identified organizations which provide direct services to women and children, and makes referrals as necessary. In addition, CCHL has taken efforts to help women in need find appropriate legal representation. We have coordinated sessions on adoption, post abortion stress syndrome, sidewalk counseling, peaceful picketing, lobbying, legislative functions, letter writing, and other general pro-life topics. Currently, we provide speakers for local schools and colleges, organizations, and interested parties. Students frequently use the CCHL library as a resource in preparing school projects.
With additional funding, CCHL will be able to more effective extend it's outreach to inform women in crisis pregnancy situations of the options available to them. Increased advertising and more frequent educational seminars will be primary activities to receive funding.
All fund raising is conducted by volunteers. Expenses for fund raising activities and administration do not exceed 4.5% of revenues raised.
